QUEST OF THE GOLDEN CORN
Owen County Farm Bureau, Inc. in conjunction with Community Farmers' Market of Owen County will sponsor a "Quest of the Golden Corn" contest. Each week one clue will be published in the Spencer Evening World. The contestant is to take the answer of this clue to a Farmers' Market vendor on the Saturday indicated with the clue. If the contestant gives the vendor the CORRECT answer, the contestant will be given a letter of the alphabet. These letters are to be collected each time and when put together will literally spell where the treasure is located. Each vendor will have a limited number of letters to distribute and will ONLY have the current clue's letter available.
The "Quest of the Golden Corn" winner will receive $250 from Owen County Farm Bureau, Inc.!!!
PLEASE REMEMBER... DO NOT TRESPASS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY AND DO NOT HARM ANYTHING as you seek the "Quest of the Golden Corn" prize. The winnings you seek will be hidden on public property within the boundaries of Owen County. Digging will NOT be required.

The first clue of the "Quest of the Golden Corn" is available in the Spencer Evening World's Tuesday May 25th edition. Clues will ONLY be availble though the SEW publications so pick up a paper today to find your clue! Also a reminder that the date to being your answers to Market vendors will be indicated on the clue and only current clues alphabet letters will be available at market. The first clues may be brought to the June 5th market. Happy Hunting!!

Clue #4 for the "Quest of the Golden Corn" is available in the SEW's Monday June 14th edition. The answer to this clue may be brought to the June 26th market for your alphabet clue.
Clue #5 for the "Quest of the Golden Corn" is available in the SEW's Friday June 25th edition. The clue states to bring the answers to the July 3rd market, but the market will be closed this day so answers to clue #5 may be brought to the July 10th market.
