Owen County Farm Bureau, Inc. in conjunction with Community Farmers' Market of Owen County will sponsor a "Quest of the Golden Corn" contest. Each week one clue will be published in the Spencer Evening World. The contestant is to take the answer of this clue to a Farmers' Market vendor on the Saturday indicated with the clue. If the contestant gives the vendor the CORRECT answer, the contestant will be given a letter of the alphabet. These letters are to be collected each time and when put together will literally spell where the treasure is located. Each vendor will have a limited number of letters to distribute and will ONLY have the current clue's letter available.
The "Quest of the Golden Corn" winner will receive $250 from Owen County Farm Bureau, Inc.!!!
PLEASE REMEMBER... DO NOT TRESPASS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY AND DO NOT HARM ANYTHING as you seek the "Quest of the Golden Corn" prize. The winnings you seek will be hidden on public property within the boundaries of Owen County. Digging will NOT be required.

The 2010 Market Season is here! May 1st was our opening day with a great crowd of customers and vendors. We believe this is going to be a great market season and we hope you will mark your calendars to join us each Saturday of the season.

Good new for our vendors and growers! The Market has worked hard and has met its start up costs and we're

Attention Musicians and Entertainers

What's NEW for 2010
Coming to the Market CAFE this year will be a "Swap or Buck a Book." Swap or Buck a Book program will be held at the Market Cafe. Everyone is welcomed to participate. If you bring a book you can exchange it for another book in the program or you may purchase a book in the program for $1.00. It is the board's hope that children visiting the market will have new books to take home every week. Donations welcomed if you have unused books someone else would like to read.

- Tell your friends and family about the Market.
- Print either of these flyers and give it someone or hang it in a public place
- Tell the Market Board about advertising avenues they could pursue - Please keep in mind free advertising allows the Board to keep cost lower for the vendors.
